Alley Cat Allies is reaching out to help cats impacted by Maui fires
As devastating wildfires impact Maui, Alley Cat Allies is determining the best ways to provide rescue, veterinary care, and critical supplies for cats, kittens, and other animals.
Right now, we’re reaching out to organizations on the island to pinpoint where help is most needed.
We are prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives.
Why we eartip and not ear notch
In some parts of the world, a cat spayed or neutered through a #TNR program is more often marked by an EAR NOTCH rather than an EARTIP. These two cats in Istanbul, Turkey, are an example!
However, Alley Cat Allies always recommends an eartip over an ear notch. Ear notches are much harder to see from a distance and can easily be mistaken for an injury.
Learn why an eartip is the best tip.
