We Won a Major Victory for Puerto Rico Cats, But Our Fight Continues

Alley Cat Allies is taking historic, fearless, and effective action to stop the U.S. National Park Service from removing and killing community cats living on the San Juan National Historic Site in Puerto Rico.

Cats, like Llorin, live in peace in their outdoor home on the historic site and are beloved members of the San Juan community. See and share Alley Cat Allies’ latest victories and updates to protect Puerto Rico’s cats and learn what you can do at alleycat.org/PuertoRico.

We’re Saving Cats and Kittens Every Day Thanks to YOU

From saving kittens like Alfredo and Sunny by providing access to veterinary care (they’ve since been adopted!) to fighting to end cruel and deadly policies against cats worldwide, our donors and supporters are the reason we can do it all.

Your generosity makes all the difference as we work toward a world where every cat is valued and protected. Make a lifesaving gift today at alleycat.org/Donate.

We’re 1.4 Million Advocates Strong

Alley Cat Allies is endlessly grateful to our supporters, who now number more than 1.4 million! Because of you, we can protect and improve cats’ lives every single day.

With cats still facing deadly policies across the U.S. and around the world, our work together is more critical than ever. Thank you for helping us meet every challenge head on and make true change for cats and kittens.

If you aren’t yet part of our movement, join us at alleycat.org/SignUp.

ADOPTED! Welcome Home, Opal

As you can see, Opal looks as happy as can be in her new home. In fact, she showered her adopter with kisses the moment she left her carrier!

Opal has come so far from the dehydrated, anemic cat Alley Cat Allies saved from inhumane conditions in a shelter, and it’s all thanks to you. Your support made her recovery—and her new start—possible!

Thank you for helping Alley Cat Allies save Opal’s life and find her the family she deserves. We still have animals waiting for a family to adopt them, so please meet them and spread the word at alleycat.org/Adopt

Providing Critical Care for Cats with Birth Defects

If you’ve been following us, you may remember Tank, Emporio, and Maximus; three beautiful cats born with a liver defect called a portosystemic shunt. They needed specialized surgery to have the best chance at survival—and Alley Cat Allies ensured they received it because of our supporters like you!

All are in loving homes today, and prove that cats with congenital conditions can truly thrive with access to the right care and a lot of love.

Adoption Update: Big Holly Slims Down

Big Holly isn’t so big anymore! Thanks to top-notch care from Alley Cat Allies, which was continued by her adopters, Holly has trimmed down to a healthy weight and is looking and feeling great.

Since Holly was 9 years old with diabetes when she came to us, the veterinary treatment and continuing care we provided was invaluable—and only possible because of our supporters like you.

Now Holly is 10 and celebrating a year and a half in her forever home! We’ll never get tired of seeing our cat ‘graduates’ thrive, and we hope you enjoy it just as much. YOU are the reason Holly is happy and healthy!

On Our Way to 1000+ Cats Helped This Summer in Atlantic County

Say hello to Ivan!

Alley Cat Allies’ lifesaving work with the Humane Society of Atlantic County in New Jersey is going strong. We’re on track to reach 1000 cats between May and October with spay and neuter including Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), vaccination, and other critical care. That’s on top of the thousands more cats and kittens we’ve already helped in the past two years!

Ivan is just one of the cats recently neutered and vaccinated through our latest grant. He has since been adopted and is adored by his new family.
