Have your best cat photos at the ready? We’re officially assembling our 2025-2026 Alley Cat Allies calendar, and we’re on the lookout for submissions from supporters like you to feature in the pages of this very popular resource! Your cat could be our next calendar cover star, or represent a month of the year in gorgeous full color.
The deadline to submit your photos is MARCH 31, so don’t wait! Submit your photos today.
Please review the photo guidelines below before sending in your submissions. Photos need to meet specific criteria in order to be potentially featured.
Our Alley Cat Allies calendar isn’t just a beautiful keepsake; it’s a true resource and a look into the lifesaving work for cats YOU make possible. You’ll find beautiful photos of the indoor and community cats in our supporters’ lives, along with the heartwarming stories behind those photos that submitters graciously share with us.
What’s more, you can’t turn a page without discovering Alley Cat Allies programs and critical information about cats. This calendar doesn’t just help track dates—it inspires and informs cat advocates!
To be chosen, photos should:
- Feature an indoor cat(s) and/or community cat(s). Do you care for community cats outdoors in your neighborhood? Did you encounter community cats on a trip and take beautiful photographs? Submit them; our calendar represents our work to protect ALL cats!
- Be high-resolution and horizontal oriented, meaning 300 dpi or higher, and 13.5 inches wide x 10 inches tall (4050 pixels wide x 3000 pixels tall) or larger.
- Not contain any text, emojis, graphics, or other content overlaid on the photo.
- Capture a cat or kitten’s personality, whether cute, curious, or comical
Photos that feature scenery of different seasons, inside or outside, are extra appreciated. For example, cats gazing out of a window on a snowy day, playing in spring flowers, or lounging in autumn leaves.
Submissions are limited to 2 photos per person. We want to see your best work! Only photos submitted through our online form will be considered, so please do not email or mail photos.
We’re so grateful to all who choose to be a part of this impactful and popular resource, and we look forward to seeing your submissions!
