Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry: Keeping Families and Pets Together
Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry is on a mission to ensure that pets stay where they belong—with their loving families. They understand that economic challenges can make it difficult for pet owners to provide for their furry companions. That’s why they provide free pet food to qualifying pet owners facing financial difficulties.
Key Initiatives:
Free Pet Food: Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry offers pet food at no cost to eligible pet owners who are struggling financially and finding it hard to feed their pets.
The Impact:
Economic reasons are a major factor in approximately 25% of pets being surrendered to local shelters. This adds up to thousands of animals in our community each year. Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry aims to make a significant difference by:
Reducing the number of pets taken to shelters.
Decreasing the number of pets euthanized due to overcrowded shelters.
Preserving the loving bond between pet owners and their animals.
Relieving individuals of the emotional stress of not being able to provide for their pets.
How to Receive Assistance:
If you or someone you know needs assistance with pet food, you can reach out to Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry. Simply click on the “”Get Help Now!”” button to access the guidelines and complete the online application. Alternatively, you can download an application and email it to [email protected]. Even if you don’t meet all the qualifications, it’s encouraged to fill out the application for assistance, as they strive to help everyone in need within reason.
Distribution Details:
Pet food is distributed on the second Saturday of each month at The Pantry located at 550 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, LA 70458, Suite F, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Southeast Louisiana Pet Food Pantry is making a difference by ensuring that pets and their families can stay together, even during challenging times. Don’t hesitate to reach out and secure the support your furry friends deserve.”
