Alley Cat Allies works closely with advocates, caregivers, veterinarians, decision-makers, organizations, and more to provide critical resources and support for cats and kittens. These are just some of the stories of our impact together!
Blossom and Siblings Are Truly Blossoming
Here’s an update to brighten your Monday: Blossom and her siblings are getting bigger every day. Now, as you can see, they’ve opened their eyes to the world around them–and are becoming quite the little explorers!
If you’ve been following us, you know that we rescued Blossom, Bloom, Buttercup, Bud, Bee, and mom Brook from a shelter without the right humane programs to care for neonatal kittens (kittens younger than 4 weeks old). Without that swift action, it was likely the little family would have been killed.
Working with veterinary allies, through our expert educational materials, and because of our supporters like you, we’re protecting young kittens like Blossom throughout kitten season!
Hello from Bleu the Boardwalk Cat

Another happy Monday from Boardwalk Cat Bleu! Seeing Bleu’s face pop out from beneath the boardwalk, ready for his meal, is always a mood-booster, and we wanted to share the moment with you!
Every day, Alley Cat Allies protects and cares for the community cats who call the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey home. Our Boardwalk Cats Project®, a model Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, has been active since 2000!

Specialized Veterinary Care to Save Chifileit

Meet Chifileit (and if her name makes you think of the fast food chain, that’s the idea)!
We believe Chifileit has feline infectious peritonitis or FIP, which involves a treatment plan and recovery period that can be challenging, to say the least. However, Alley Cat Allies works with veterinarians who are very experienced with FIP treatment, and FIP-diagnosed cats in our care have made incredible recoveries.
So, we’re going to do all we can for Chifileit, who is 4 years old and whose family loves her very much. Thank you for making it possible to help cats like her, even through the most complex of situations.
Update: Sprout and Daffodil are Blooming

Remember these two? We’ve named them Sprout and Daffodil, and they’re settling in nicely! Thank you to all who wished them well when we took them in after they were found abandoned.
They’ve already come a long way since our team members first snapped a photo of them en route to the veterinarian. Sprout is extremely sweet, bold, and curious, while his sister, Daffodil, is shy and reserved but exploring a little more every day.
Fitting with the start of spring, we’ll make sure they blossom under regular care. Then, we’ll find the right adoptive homes for them both!
Cat Food Support for Texas Community Cats

Texas community cat advocates, you’re amazing (and so are community cat advocates everywhere)!
This week, we were proud to provide cat food support for beautiful community cats in Austin, Texas, like Rocky, Annie, Mia, and Casey.
We’re working across the country and beyond—with caregivers, organizations, veterinarians, decision-makers, and more—to support critical resources for cats. Those resources encompass everything from no-cost cat food to lifesaving veterinary care.
You’re the reason we can do it all!

Pookie Is Still in Recovery
A Pookie update: All is well!
You may recall that in March, we rushed Pookie to veterinary care for wounds to her neck, leg, and back. But after treatment and a lot of TLC, as you can see, she’s relaxed, kicking back, and in no pain!
Thank you to all who have wished Pookie well—your compassion and generosity are the reason we can provide her the treatment she needs to recover in comfort and safety!
April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month
This month and always, we encourage advocates to learn how they can stand against cruelty to cats and explain to decision-makers that animal cruelty must be taken extremely seriously and penalized to the fullest extent of the law.
Our resources will help explain the “Link” between cruelty to cats and cruelty to people. alleycat.org/TheLink
