Alley Cat Allies continues to provide emergency veterinary care to cats and kittens impacted by the Los Angeles fires and we stand ready to take more action as the new Hughes Fire spreads.

We are proud to give support when it’s most needed for the cats who are victims of these disasters, as well as the people who have lost almost everything. Today, we covered the costs of veterinary care for Mama Anna, Baby Anna, and Hazel—a bonded trio. They, and their family, lost their home to the Palisades Fire. Their primary veterinary clinic burned down as well.

Hazel is 7 and Mama Anna and Baby Anna are 14 years old. What they’ve been through is particularly stressful for cats in their golden years, but we’re making sure they receive the treatment and relief they need. They’re staying together in a foster home thanks to our friends at Femme Felines.

Their owner is aware and relieved that her cats are being cared for and protected, and we’re so grateful to our supporters who make this work possible.

All cats rescued from the L.A. fires who are receiving medical care from Alley Cat Allies have identified owners or caregivers!

This week, we’re bringing several more cats to clinics for examination and treatment and ensuring cats seen earlier this month are getting any needed follow-up care.

We’re planning to be on the ground again in impact areas soon, and we thank you deeply for all of your compassion and generosity. Every gift helps us save more lives, so please consider giving to support our fire response today.
