To all who participated in Global Cat Day 2024—you are an incredible force for good for cats the world over! People from across the globe celebrated this critical day of action and shouted loud and clear that Cats Are Community™ and deserve to be protected like community.
Those who held National Feral Cat Day® actions on the ground to help cats and who spread education, awareness, and advocacy on the web this October 16 helped our movement grow and strengthen beyond words. With cats around the world still facing deadly threats from cruel and misguided local and even federal agency policies, our strength and tenacity is more critical than ever.
From New Orleans to Paris, Alley Cat Allies was busy on Global Cat Day, too! We kicked off our Global Cat Day Feline Frenzy® events in Wilson and Sumner Counties of Tennessee with a goal of reaching 200 cats and kittens within two days. Spay and neuter, TNR, vaccination, other needed veterinary care, and no-cost cat food were all on the table—and the events were an impactful and lifesaving success!
