Alley Cat Allies’ emergency funding saved Opie’s life.
Opie, a tiny three-week-old kitten found without his mother. Alley Cat Allies’ emergency funding to support communities hard-hit by COVID-19 provided the round-the-clock care that saved Opie’s life. Now he’s growing into a healthy, gorgeous cat thanks to skilled neonatal caregivers.
- Lady Jane, Skye, and Marbles, much-loved community cats in Casper, Wyoming, whose lives were threatened when the City Council considered a feeding ban on outdoor cats until local cat advocates reached out to Alley Cat Allies. We helped convince the City Council to drop the cruel proposal.
- Teddy and Monkey, who needed emergency care. Teddy was a weak, sickly neonatal kitten when he was found without his mother. Monkey was found outdoors alone with a genetic deformity in her nose that made it hard for her to breathe, especially with an upper respiratory infection. Alley Cat Allies’ donor support ensured both got the treatment and loving homes they needed.
