Alley Cat Allies is offering a reward of $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting and maiming George with a shotgun. George was found injured in Henrietta Township, Ohio. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Friendship Animal Protective League (APL) humane investigations hotline at (440) 322-4321 x 225. A Check-In On Astra (She’s Out of This World Cute!)

A happy update on Astra! She and her siblings are currently in Alley Cat Allies’ care, and are thriving, enjoying life, and having new experiences every day!

This week, Astra discovered the endless joy of the scratching post! THANK YOU for being the reason we can provide access to care for cats and kittens.

Hello from Cricket—You Make His Care Possible

We introduced you to Cricket and his siblings earlier this month—all are receiving veterinary treatment through Alley Cat Allies grants for access to care. We’re happy to share that this tiny tuxedo is getting more playful by the day.

Thank you for helping us save kittens like Cricket. We’ll keep you updated—and let you know when he’s found a forever home!

Throwback: Opie’s Incredible Transformation

Opie before

Opie was just 3 weeks old when he was found without his mother in Holden Beach, North Carolina. Severely underweight and ill, he needed emergency veterinary care to make it through the night. Alley Cat Allies covered all costs—all the way through Opie’s adoption.

As you can see, he grew into a healthy, happy, gorgeous cat!
