When cats and kittens need us, we’re there. Alley Cat Allies works with veterinarians to boost access to care and no-cost services for cats. And, we support caregivers who aren’t in a financial position to afford treatment for the cats and kittens they love.

Protecting Pookie
Thank you for being the reason we can save cats like Pookie with critical veterinary care!
This week, we were able to rush Pookie to emergency treatment for wounds to her neck, back, and leg, and she continues to recover in comfort and safety (and is in good spirits!).
It’s all part of our larger work to improve access to care for cats and kittens, and for their families or caregivers who could not otherwise afford their treatment.

Rushing Kittens to Lifesaving Care
Our team always stands ready to help cats who need urgent support. One of our team members snapped this photo of two kittens, recently abandoned, who we rushed to veterinary care.
Thanks to our supporters like you, we’re making sure they receive the treatment they need, and they’ll be comfortable and safe from here on in.
Veterinarians are keeping a close eye on these little ones, and we can’t wait to share updates when they’re feeling better! We’re already working to find forever homes for them once they’re fully recovered.
Saving a Mom and Kittens from a Shelter
Kitten season is officially underway. One of our veterinary allies snapped a few photos of this mother and her tiny kittens (she has five)—all of whom
were rescued from a shelter that did not have the right humane programs to protect them. Without swift action, their lives were in danger.
Alley Cat Allies is covering the costs of care for the whole little family. We’ll help find homes for mom and kittens once they’re old enough, and ensure all are spayed or neutered when the time is right!
We’re thinking of names for the kittens, and we’ll keep you posted as they grow!
ADOPTED: Special Needs Kitten Blitzen Finds the Perfect Home
Great news: An amazing person looking to help a special needs cat decided to adopt Blitzen!
If you’ve been following us, you may recall that early this year, Alley Cat Allies covered the costs of Blitzen’s care and rehabilitation after an injury left her unable to fully use her back legs. She’s been a bright, curious, energetic kitten through it all–and now she’s found her forever home!

A Look Back on Two Lucky Kittens
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and St. Gertrude’s Day, in honor of the patron saint of cats!
In the spirit of the day, we’re looking back and celebrating Clover and Charm’s amazing story of recovery and resilience. When the brother and sister duo first came into Alley Cat Allies’ care as tiny kittens, they were so sick that they had to be monitored through the night for fear they would not make it until morning. But thanks to top-notch veterinary treatment—and maybe the slightest pinch of luck—Clover and Charm made a full recovery.
Today, they’re happy and healthy young cats who found their forever home—together (their family calls them Brie and Camembert)! We at Alley Cat Allies feel honored, and very lucky, to have incredible supporters who make it possible for us to save kittens like Clover and Charm. We tip our hats to you!
