Every Kitty – Every City Program

 

For more than 17 years, Alley Cat Allies has been the only national organization focused specifically on bettering the lives of outdoor cats. We have worked with animal welfare organizations, animal control agencies, and individuals across the country to help their communities help outdoor cats. Alley Cat Allies understands the most effective way to protect cats is to transform each community’s animal
management system – one by one.

In order to achieve our goal, Alley Cat Allies is launching the “Every Kitty – Every City” program, a targeted effort to create much needed, life-saving programs which will benefit all cats. Through this program, we will partner with local Trap-Neuter-Return groups, shelters, animal control agencies, and governments to create a lasting, effective program for outdoor cats. Our work will include initiating adult humane education through mass media and events, offering training for animal control officers, and helping local groups and governments increase the community’s low-cost, high-volume spay/neuter and vaccination services for all cats.
